Week 4: Macro

As one of my many small projects for this year I have decided to participate in a 365 photo project except this is not a daily project, thank goodness, but a weekly photo exploration. Each week I will explore the theme and then post it for you to view.

This week my theme is "Macro" not having a macro lens I made do with my 35mm 1.8 lens to capture the morning raindrops in my fathers garden. I love the bokeh on this picture, you will see in my pictures that bokeh is something I will always try to achieve in my pictures. Ofcourse the theme is not "bokeh" but rather "macro", and I realise I might want to invest in a macro lens this year because creating an image of that raindrop extremely close up with a reflection of me in it would have been the shot. The picture still gives me a warm fizzy feeling and with the rain being such an abundance at the moment in Namibia, I thank God for his raindrops because they are a reflection of his beauty!
